We are putting the website back together. After testing the "interactive map" idea, looks like we will be able to know who is from where.


Also, We will be posting the interviews for the Members of the Year tomorrow.


ABOUT THE "in the LIMElight"

NAME that TUNE

We have come to realize that out of 1355, only 30 people is truly active, with that being said. Name that Character is being cancelled, and Name that Tune is being Pushed to Thursday for a BIGGER PRIZE! 

Instead of giving away 2 small prizes, lets just make one BIG prize!

The gift will be your choice of ONE of these. 

  

-12 month membership,

-A game of your choice that we will buy 
($60 value or less and can be a 
game coming out at a later date)

NAME THAT TUNE will be posted at 9PM EST

A video will be posted with 10 different music clips from 10 different games. First person to guess all 10 (or have the most correct answers) in the correct order, wins.

THE VIDEO will be posted on the SITE: You will have to message the ANSWERS to the ADMIN's PAGE! (This way no one can steal your answers)

Participation

Congrats again to the winner of "Ugly Betting".

The winner's response made me realize something, she said:

I'd like to thank the producers of the movie POWDER. And Miss Do It Big and the rest of u who didn't participate cause I probably wouldn't have won :)



When she said "The rest of u who didn't participate" that made me realize that its not our fault you don't win anything. Everyone has a chance to win something but if you are not going to participate in the events or contest, then why worry about how you don't win anything?

I have some great gifts to give away but I am not going to give them to members that do not put in effort into being "apart" of the group. We are not asking you to let the group take over your life. We just ask that instead of complaining about how no one talks about the games you want to hear, how about you talk about it and then maybe someone will respond.

If you know any gamers on your facebook friend's list and they play the same games as you, you could add them to the group that way we will grow in other genres to talk about.

I was also told that some people don't want to participate due to the last events we have thrown. Let's get something clear, that last event was not made by all the admins, yes it was unorganized and ill prepared but it wasn't a fully thought out event. That event was thrown by another person who is no longer an admin. So lets clean the slate and get the participation rolling.

I will name TWO events that are in the works:
"Battle of the Sexes" and "Hold that Title" (Zombies)

Adding people to the group

With the group being a secret, members has asked me if it's ok to add their friends in the group. The answer is YES! That is exactly what I would like for everyone to do. Once you add someone to the group, I will have to approve them and greet them with a welcome message and thats it. 

We want this to be an exclusive group to those that know someone to get in. Also, sometimes we run into that "Rare Random" gamer in a lobby and they have a cool personality, add that person as well!

If you need help on how to add people, the best way to do it is on a computer/laptop. Look on the right under the group's description for:
"Who else should be in this group?"

Start typing in your friend's names and they should pop up automatically.

NOTE: Briefing your friend about the group would help them understand what we our.

We do have rules in place to keep the respect level high.

BLAST OFF!

Today marks the day we as a group move forward in the gaming world! Not only do we have this extended website, we also will be streaming live on twitch.tv by MARCH!

In the beginning, this group was made to keep in touch with other gamers that I could not keep on my list. With the friend list only holding 100 slots, it was hard to keep up with gaming friends. As I started putting people in the group, I came to realize, maybe I am not the only one that feels this way. As a confirmation on that thought, I received a call THAT night about how this group can be more than what it was at the moment.

As time has went by, we have went through members and admins, but the group as a whole has stood it's ground. The group isn't for me the creator, its for all the gamers that is looking for information, a new friend, or just pure entertainment while you are at work.

There is so much we can do to make this group benefit ALL of us. I will do my best to bring you the BEST, all I ask is you, the members, to work with me.

I will be accepting volunteers in march, so if you are interested, you can go ahead and send a message to the ADMIN's PAGE to let me know what talents or skills you have that could help this group. Or just wait til I post what exactly I will be looking for, for future projects!
